Orchard Farm High School Dedicates New Scoreboard Donated by the Electrical Connection

ST. LOUIS – The Electrical Connection has donated another new digital scoreboard, including its installation, to an area high school. The Orchard Farm High School Eagles dedicated its new scoreboard before its Friday, Sept. 13, 2019 home opener.  The scoreboard was installed by Schaeffer Electricand electricians from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 1.   IBEW partners with the St. Louis Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) to form the Electrical Connection.

“We are well familiar with the high quality electrical service provided by IBEW/NECA to our school district, said Orchard Farm School District Superintendent Dr. Tom Muzzey. “But the value-added service they deliver is found in the generosity of their community support, such as the donated digital scoreboard.”

Orchard Farm High School has 600 students.  The school district serves 2,100 students in pre-kindergarten through high school in St. Charles County.  The Sept. 13, 2019 game had a disappointing outcome for the Eagles with a loss to St. Louis Priory.

Members of the Electrical Connection partnership have proficiently installed a number of electrical improvements to schools in the Orchard Farm School District.  In addition to Schaeffer Electric, that has most recently included NECA contractors Warren County Electric, LLC, TSI Global Companies, and Camp Electric & Heating Co., Inc.IBEW offers an electrical contractor hotline to help customers find reliable and quality electrical service providers at 314-932-6526.
