Five Electrical Connection Member Projects Named Finalists in AGC Keystone Awards

ST. LOUIS – The total number of Electrical Connection member projects saluted over the last 21 years by the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Missouri exceeds 90 with word that five were selected as finalists for this year’s AGC Keystone Awards. Since 1997, the prestigious construction awards program has honored projects for safety, proficiency in overcoming challenges and the quality of delivery, including maintaining budget and schedule.

This year, three projects from Guarantee Electrical Co. and one each from PayneCrest Electric Inc. and Kaiser Electric were selected as finalists for the awards.  All are members of the Electrical Connection, a partnership of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 1 and the St. Louis Chapter of the National Electrical Contractor Association (NECA).

Guarantee is being honored for its work on the Peter Sachs Museum for the Missouri Botanical Garden, the BJC Campus Renewal Project Phase I for BJC HealthCare, and Museum of the Westward Expansion at the Arch for the U.S. Department of Interior.

PayneCrest’s earned a finalist selection for its work on the Ranken Jordan Inpatient Addition in Maryland Heights while Kaiser is saluted for its work on its emergency generator project at St. Mary’s Hospital for SSM Health.
