Electrical Connection IBEW/NECA in the News

First Bank’s new $40 million new headquarters is designed to engage employees in a creative way as they serve the bank’s customers.  NECA contractor PayneCrest Electric is the design-build electrical contractor for the building team lead by Brinkmann Constructors. The four-story, 85,000-square-foot building will emerge at 11901 Olive Boulevard in Creve Coeur. According to the St. Louis Business Journal “It will have a “design featuring a courtyard that will enable employees to work outdoors like they did at home during the coronavirus pandemic.”

Electrical Connection contractor Summit Electric is brightening the past and future by installing new LED lighting at the National Museum of Transportation. The project is part of the overall master plan to modernize the museum and it is one of several that Summit and its IBEW Local 1 workforce has delivered proficiently. The most cost-efficient lighting spotlight historic and modern exhibits, including a train that travels 550 mph and can get to Kansas City from St. Louis in 30 minutes.

All it takes to nurture a bright future is to plant a seed. Electrical Connection contractor TSI Global Companies did just that recently when it organized a tech show for the St. Louis Public Schools featuring many of its high-tech partners. The show gave principals, superintendents, and educators hands-on experience with a variety of education-based technology from a variety of manufacturers. The lessons introduce more creative ways to engage students to careers in the technology industry.
