Two NECA Contractors – J.F. Electric and Guarantee Electrical Co. – earned a ranking among the top 50 electrical contractors in the nation by Electrical Contractor and Maintenance (EC&M) magazine.  J.F. Electric placed 32^nd in the rankings. Guarantee placed 46^th. The national trade publication noted that “Even as the economy struggled to regain its footing in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and inflation, supply chain snarls and labor shortages, companies comprising the 2022 installment of EC&M’s Top 50 Electrical Contractors reported combined record revenues of almost $40 billion for the year a 20% gain over the $34.1 billion amassed in 2020 by the 2021 Top 50.” Learn more.

NECA contractor Guarantee Electrical Co. was also in the spotlight at the annual NECA convention in Austin, Texas this month as it was presented with a prestigious NECA Project Excellence Award for building the Benson Hill Crop Accelerator in St. Louis.  More than 100 entries for the excellence in electrical contracting awards were submitted.  Guarantee was among 16 NECA contractors earning top honors. Guarantee’s design/build prowess was saluted for transforming a warehouse into Benson Hill’s 47,000-square-foot Crop Accelerator. The firm creatively engineered and installed a robust electrical infrastructure to power numerous grow chambers and supportive bio-science space. It also re-sequenced work to overcome a delay in critical switchgear, delivering the project on-time, under budget with no injuries. 

NECA contractor J. Bathe Electric partnered with Usborne Books & More and The Child Advocacy Center (CAC) to provide cuddle bears and books for the kids served at the CAC.  J Bathe provided matching donations to CAC, which responds to child abuse through a supportive team approach to reduce the trauma to children and their families.  Learn more.
