Four NECA contractors are spotlighted in the St. Louis Business Journal’s annual ranking of the region’s largest private companies.  They include ArchKey Solutions (Sachs Electric), J.F. Electric, Guarantee Electrical Co., and PayneCrest Electric, Inc. The rankings were by 2021 revenues.  Aschinger Electric also made the list based on its 2021 revenues, but it has since merged with Guarantee. See the full rankings by the St. Louis Business Journal

The first stirrings of innovation can begin at the IBEW/NECA Electrical Industry Training Center.  Such was the case of Guarantee Electrical Co.’s Senior Electrical Designer Kevin Hilzinger who began his 26-year-long career as a journeyman wireman.  Hilzinger is spotlighted in the latest issue of St. Louis CNR for his innovation in creating and patenting the Electro-Post EP-10, which makes it much easier to install electrical boxes. “My product eliminates the need for an electrician to squeeze himself between ductwork and steam lines that are six to seven feet in the air,” noted Hilzinger in the article. Clear skies, health, wellness, fellowship and family fun!  What could be better for the annual IBEW Local 1 Health Fair.  Nearly 1,000 IBEW members and their families attended the day-long festive “Ride the Wellness Wave” health fair on Oct. 1, 2022 at the IBEW union hall.   It offered free comprehensive wellness screenings and flu shots.  In addition, the IBEW/NECA Service Center detailed updates on health benefits and managing health care costs.
