Two Electrical Connection and NECA contractors are merging to form a company with the combined revenue of nearly $300 million and 1,000 employees. Fenton-based Aschinger Electric will become an independent business unit of Guarantee Electrical Company at the end of this year, to operate as Aschinger Electric, a Guarantee Electrical Co., according to the St. Louis Business Journal. Both companies have a long legacy of electrical and communications service. Aschinger was founded 81 years ago. Guarantee will celebrate its 120th anniversary next year.

Meanwhile, Guarantee came away with three honors at this year’s AGC of Missouri Annual Keystone Awards Gala. The firm earned Specialty Contractor of the Year Award and two of its projects were Keystone finalists -- Ballpark Village - One Cardinal Way and New Growth Horizon.
Another Electrical Connection NECA contractor, Vision Electric and Systems, installed its latest electric vehicle infrastructure project - this one for a local distribution center. Vision built everything from underground to final commissioning and all of design and infrastructure in between. It installed a dedicated 2500-amp main electrical service and all EV charging equipment to support the electrical vehicle charging stations, including capacity for eight future charging stations.
