Lighting a sports venue requires a meticulous game plan, especially if it’s to be completed in a three-week time frame without disrupting scheduled games, concerts and special events.  NECA contractor Aschinger Electric did just that in modernizing lighting at Saint Louis University’s Chaifetz Arena.  Aschinger and its IBEW workforce removed more than 100 HID fixtures and replaced them with 62 more energy efficient LED fixtures.  It created better lighting with the capacity for visual effects, including color changes.
