Electrical Connection IBEW/NECA in the News

The Electrical Connection continues to advance its commitment to energizing STEM education and the future of robotics.  In March 2018, Electrical Connection Executive Vice President Jim Curran delivered an address at the First Robotics regional robotics competition at Chaifetz Arena.  Curran detailed the growing applications of robotics in industries served by the Electrical Connection membership, including cybersecurity, advanced manufacturing, autonomous vehicles, retail and technology industries.  “We believe in you,” noted Curran. “You will be pioneering new designs and applications for robotics that our contractors and workforce will install and maintain.”

Guarantee Electric has earned top honors in safety by a peer network organization.

Aschinger Electric Co. provided insights in the rapidly evolving changes to lighting in its March 2018 newsletter.

The best of the Electrical Connection partnership is seen when IBEW/NECA unite to deliver excellence. So kudos to NECA contractor PayneCrest and Project Manager Rob Zuroweste and IBEW General Foreman Chris Boyd.  Construction manager DLB Associates was so impressed with their dedication to service that it awarded both WOW Awards.  The awards are normally given to DLB employees, but Zuroweste and Boyd were honored for great service and their attention to detail in completing the Compass Data Center in Tulsa, Okla.
