Electrical Connection IBEW/NECA in the News

Good health is family. Good health is looking after one another and at the annual IBEW Local 1 health fair these qualities were in abundance.  Held at the IBEW Local 1 union hall, the health fair was sponsored by the IBEW/NECA partnership.  It offered free comprehensive wellness screenings and flu shots.  In addition, the IBEW/NECA Service Center detailed updates on health benefits and managing health care costs.

Another highly functional work of art by our IBEW/NECA partners can be found at Mercy South Emergency Department expansion.  Here NECA contractor Kaiser Electric and its IBEW Local 1 workforce use precision engineering to layout and install “flawless concentric 1-inch bends to match the 4-inch conduit bends, for the power distribution system. It’s precision and artistry turned a complex electrical task into a visual masterpiece.

And kudos to NECA contractor Kay-Bee Electric Co. as it was named one of the best companies in North St. Louis County. The honor came at the North County Treasurers luncheon where Kay-Bee was saluted as Best Electricians for its great service by the Greater North County Chamber. The Greater North County Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary partnership of over 500 business and professional people working together to build a healthy economy and to improve the quality of life in the North County area.
