The American Subcontractors Association – Midwest Council is planning its spring Awards Gala and once again our IBEW/NECA contractors are making a great showing. NECA contractors Guarantee Electrical, Kaemmerlen Electric and RJP Electric are all nominees in MEP Subcontractor of the Year Categories. The winners will be announced at the Awards Gala on April 5, 2025 at The Four Seasons Hotel in Downtown St. Louis. Learn more.
Meanwhile, NECA contractor Primary Systems earned accolades from the National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA), the leading non-profit national organization in the commercial integration industry. Primary Systems was given an Excellence in Business Award at the organization’s national conference last month. The firm was saluted for its employee engagement, including leadership development training for the executive team, as well as members of its sales, operations, clinical, IT, and accounting departments. It also engaged a new mission, vision, and set of values for the company to follow. NSCA noted “by establishing an annual town hall meeting, all employees now hear directly from the company president, COO, CFO, and VP of sales regarding progress and updates.” Learn more.
National Women in Construction Week concluded on March 7, 2025, and according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, women working in the building industry has increased more than 60% since 2012. NECA contractor PayneCrest saluted the hardworking women in its workforce with a video spotlighting Katelyn Sullivan and Alex Estell. PayneCrest noted “Their dedication, skill, and leadership make a lasting impact on our projects and our team.” See the video.
