NECA contractors ArchKey Solutions and Guarantee Electrical are ranked among the nation’s top specialty contractors by the construction trade publication Engineering News Record (ENR). In the latest rankings based on 2022 revenue, both are listed among the top 50 electrical contractors in the country by ENR with ArchKey ranking 10^th and Guarantee ranking 37^th.  In the overall rankings comprising all specialty contractors, ArchKey ranks 24^th and Guarantee ranks 121^st.  Learn more.

In a different kind of honor, IBEW Local 1 saluted the service of its members to the union and its customers in its annual pin ceremony – including retirees. Each member is acknowledged every five years for their service and a total of 1,071 members were honored in 2023. A tip of the cap to Roland Hartwig, an 80-year member of IBEW Local 1, the longest servicing member saluted in this year’s ceremony and all those who have dedicated their lives to skill and safety to power our everyday needs.

NECA contractor J.F. Electric played a major role in a sustainable initiative for Triad School District #2 in Troy, Ill. The district purchased three electric Blue Bird school buses with V2G (Vehicle to Grid) capabilities.  The JF Electric team installed a 1000-amp, 480 volt, three-phase service and three V2G 60 KWH DC fast chargers from Nuvve, providing greener transportation solutions for the community.
