Electrical Connection IBEW/NECA in the News

The $616 million Washington University School of Medicine Neuroscience Research Building is complete with the assistance of our IBEW/NECA partners.  NECA contractor PayneCrest Electric, Inc. and its IBEW workforce were part of the construction team led by McCarthy Building Companies.  The 11 story, 609,000-square-foot facility in the Central West End unites neuroscience, aging and brain science. In a feature on the project, St. Louis CNR noted that “Both McCarthy and Washington University credit the solid project teamwork of all companies throughout the life of the project.” Learn more.

The overall increase nearly doubled from the 778-MW total in the first quarter of the year, which had declined over the fourth quarter of 2022, and was up 21% year over year.”  Learn more.
