Electrical Connection Completes Donated Services to Build the St. Jude Dream Home

ST. LOUIS (June 30, 2025)– On Aug. 14, 2025, some lucky individual will win a St. Charles County luxury home built to benefit children served by the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®. The home in Dardenne Prairie carries an estimate value of $650,000 and is being built with the help of services and materials donated by the IBEW/NECA Electrical Connection.  IBEW-signatory TJV Electric and its workforce have completed electrical installations for the 3,261-square-foot, ranch-style home for Fischer Homes. Tickets for a chance to win the home went on sale in early June. The Electrical Connection is a partnership of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 1 and the St. Louis Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association.

Located at 325 Kingsbarn Court in Dardenne Prairie, Mo., the home is built with the generosity and support of sponsors, trade partners, and the local community. Every dollar raised goes straight to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for funding research and providing care.

The Calvin design features three bedrooms, two and a half baths and a finished basement. Its open-concept design is ideal for relaxing and entertaining. It includes a first-floor study, a cozy family room featuring a shiplap fireplace, and a private owner's suite with a deluxe tiled shower.  Other features include a gourmet kitchen with an expanded morning room leading to a large outdoor deck.

Beginning June 5, 2025, a total of 17,500 tickets went on sale for a chance to win the home and other prizes.  For more information, visit https://discover.fischerhomes.com/st-jude/st-louis-missouri-2024

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. It is the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center devoted solely to children. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to 80 percent since the hospital opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude is working to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90 percent, and we won’t stop until no child dies from cancer. St. Jude freely shares the discoveries it makes, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
