Electrical Connection IBEW/NECA in the News

A number of media outlets have joined the Electrical Connection in raising awareness of winter electrical safety in the home.  The Electrical Connection launched the safety campaign Thanksgiving week and offered tips on avoiding electrical hazards that typically increase in the winter months as people introduce and misuse electrical products such as holiday lights, extension cords, space heaters and electrical blankets.  Among the media helping raise awareness are KRMS radio at Lake of the Ozarks, KTRS radio, St. Louis Construction News and Review, Construction Forum.

And in conjunction with the Electrical Connection's 10-year partnership serving Habitat for Humanity, Fox 2 featured the Electrical Connection's Dave Roth on Dec. 7, 2017 in a highly informative news segment on winter electrical safety tips with a live interview.  As temperatures plunged that night, Fox 2 followed up again with the Electrical Connection to help educate residents on the proper use of space heaters

The Electrical Connection is again a proud supporter of Shop with a Cop.  On December 13, 2017, you’ll find the IBEW/NECA partnership at the Ferguson “Shop with a Cop.” And on December 15, 2017, we’ll be down in Farmington, Mo. celebrating the 25th anniversary of the St. Francois County “Shop with a Cop.”

NECA contractor Aschinger Electric is offering timely advice on budgeting electrical maintenance for the coming year.
