The Saint Louis Science Center’s James S. McDonnell Planetarium will be lit pink for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on June 12 and 13. In lighting the iconic planetarium pink, the Saint Louis Science Center supports efforts of Susan G. Komen-« St. Louis to save lives and end breast cancer forever.

One in eight women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime.

Every minute, somewhere in the world, someone dies from breast cancer.

The James S. McDonnell Planetarium’s new LED system was made possible by the Electrical Connection, a partnership of the St. Louis Chapter, National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local One.
