July 10, 2023 marked the 125^th anniversary of the passing of Henry Miller, who founded IBEW Local 1 right here in St. Louis in 1891 as the first skilled electrical union in the nation.  It was a tragic death – the result of a fall from a utility pole.  July 10^th has since been designated as National Lineworker Appreciation Day.
