St. Louis Electrical Connection to Co-Sponsor Wind Industry Supply Chain Workshop Wednesday, April 8, 2009 in Florissant, Mo.


ST.LOUIS, MO — The St. Louis Electrical Connection is co-sponsoring the Wind Industry Supply Chain Workshop, the first of its kind in a statewide series.

Organized by the Missouri Partnership, the event is open to the public. It will be held Wednesday, April 8, 2009 from 8 a.m. to noon at St. Louis Community College-Florissant Valley, 3400 Pershall Road, in Florissant, Mo. Doors open at 7:30 a.m.

The workshop will address local business-to-business opportunities in the renewable energy industry. Experts in the field of renewable energy will highlight market opportunities in the wind sector.

Presentations will be made by the Missouri Partnership and Cleveland, Ohio-based Great Lakes WIND Network, a wind power industry-based network of manufacturers and suppliers. Admission is $35.
