St. Louis Electrical Connection to Co-Sponsor 2009 Job Summit Tuesday, March 24, 2009 in St. Peters, Mo.


ST.LOUIS, MO — The St. Louis Electrical Connection is co-sponsoring 2009 Job Summit: A Community Forum on Best Practices for Creating the Jobs of the Future. Organized by the Economic Development Center of St. Charles County, the event is open to the public. It will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2009 from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Old Hickory Golf Club, One Dye Club Drive, in St. Peters, Mo. Admission is $20. Featured speakers are Ed Bee, president of Mandeville, La.-based Taimerica Management Company, and Greg Prestemon, president and chief executive officer of the Economic Development Center of St. Charles County. Bee’s consulting company presented key recommendations that led to the creation of the Missouri Quality Jobs Program in 2005. The program is credited with creating more than 22,000 jobs. Lee Allen Advertising is also co-sponsoring the event. The St. Louis Chapter, National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) partners with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local One to form the Electrical Connection.
