ST. LOUIS – The largest construction industry organization in Missouri has saluted four St. Louis National Electrical Contractor Association (NECA) members for building excellence. PayneCrest Electric Inc., Guarantee Electrical Co.,Kaemmerlen Electric Co. and Kaiser Electric, Inc. were all honored at the Nov. 13, 2014 2014 Associated General Contractors (AGC) – St. Louis Keystone Awards at the Renaissance Grand Hotel in Downtown St. Louis. Since initiating the AGC Keystone Awards in 1998, a half dozen different NECA contractors have been honored for construction excellence on more than 75 projects, netting more than 25 AGC Keystone Awards.
St. Louis NECA contractor winners included:
- PayneCrest’s Solana Concentrated Solar Power Plant project in Gila Bend, Az. for Abengoa Solar, PayneCrest was also honored as a finalist for its work on Hollywood Casino in Maryland Heights, Mo. for Penn National Gaming and the P & X Building Switchgear Modernization and Reliability Upgrades for Monsanto’s world headquarters in Creve Coeur, Mo.
- Guarantee Electrical Co.’s Ballpark Village project in Downtown St. Louis for The Cordish Companies. Guarantee was also a finalist for its work on the 210 N. Tucker Colocation Utility Service and Build Out in Downtown St. Louis for Digital Realty Trust, Inc. and Mercy Orthopedic Hospital for Mercy Health Systems in St. Louis.
- Kaemmerlen Electric Co., which was named Electrical Contractor of the Year.
In addition, Kaiser Electric, Inc. was named a finalist for its work on St. Joseph’s Health Center – Switchgear Replacementfor SSM Health Care in St. Louis.
St. Louis NECA contractors partner with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local One to form the Electrical Connection, providing safe and reliable electrical construction, maintenance, repair and replacement services across Missouri, the nation and the world.
