Electrical Connection Member Contractors Honored in 2013 AGC Keystone Awards


ST. LOUIS — For the 16th consecutive year, Electrical Connection member contractors have been honored for excellence on construction projects by the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of St. Louis at its annual AGC Keystone Awards gala. Guarantee Electrical Co. was named an AGC Keystone winner for two projects while PayneCrest Electric and Communications was honored as a finalist for one its projects. Both companies are part of the Electrical Connection, a labor-management partnership of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local One and the St. Louis Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA).

Guarantee earned top honors for its work on the St. Louis Art Museum in Forest Park and the Mississippi Waste Water Treatment Plant in St. Charles, Mo. The firm was also named Electrical Subcontractor of the Year.

Meanwhile, PayneCrest was saluted as a finalist for its work on PyraMax Ceramics’ proppant facility in Wrens, Ga. The fracking industry plant is now owned by Imerys Oilfield Solutions.

Since 1998, the AGC has been honoring excellence in project delivery annually in the Keystone Awards.
