NECA contractor J.F. Electric in Edwardsville is celebrating 92 years in business by being named one of the “Fastest Growing Companies” by the St. Louis Business Journal. In noting the firm’s 15 percent revenue growth in 2016, the Business Journal spotlighted two fast-track Amazon fulfillment centers completed by J.F. Electric and a new project for Scott Air Force.

Meanwhile, NECA contractor Aschinger Electric has been named a top performing electrical contractor by Ameren.

IBEW Local 1 came to the rescue again with NECA contractor Summit Electric, Inc. when this spring’s flooding rains compromised electrical systems at Ride on St. Louis equine assisted therapy in Imperial, Mo. In addition, IBEW/NECA's efforts to save the Festus, Mo. Little League season earned national recognition.

The Electrical Connection is part of the union stimulus program to make new homes more affordable. Construction Forum St. Louis featured the stimulus program now in its seventh year. Martin Bathe, president of NECA contractor M.R. Bathe Electric, participated in a business round table discussion on the home buying incentive.
