Three St. Louis NECA Electrical Contractors Ranked Among the Top 50 Nationally by Engineering News Record (ENR)


ST. LOUIS — St. Louis National Electrical Contractor Association (NECA) contractor members continue to have a robust presence in a national ranking of top specialty contractors. Three St. Louis Chapter NECA electrical contractors — Sachs Electric Co., Guarantee Electrical Co. and PayneCrest Electric, Inc. — are ranked among the top 50 electrical contractors nationally according to the construction trade publication Engineering News Record (ENR). Meanwhile, Aschinger Electric Co. Inc. joined the three to give St. Louis four local NECA contractors listed in ENR’s Oct. 24, 2016 cover story, “The Top 600 Specialty Contractors.” neca_01lr

Sachs ranked 35th in the nation among electrical contractors with $222 million in 2015 revenues. It ranked 92nd among all specialty contractors nationally. Guarantee ranked 47th among electrical contractors nationally with revenues of $148 million. It ranked 146th among all specialty contractors nationally. PayneCrest placed 50th among its peers with revenues of $143 million. The firm ranked 154th among all specialty contractors nationally.

Aschinger Electric Co. Inc. was ranked 380th among all specialty contractors nationally with revenues of $48.8 million. Meanwhile, Bell Electrical Contractors, Inc. is part of the MDU Construction Services Group, Inc. which ranked 15th largest nationally among electrical contractors with $426.2 million in revenue. According to the St. Louis Business Journal 2016 listing of the largest St. Louis electrical contractors, Bell accounted for $35 million of that revenue which by itself would earn placement among the top 600 contractors. Other St. Louis area contractors who are represented by NECA and would have earned a ranking among the top 600 contractors based on 2015 revenue reported by the St. Louis Business Journal are: J.F. Electric Inc. ($180.4 million); Kaiser Electric, Inc. ($39.2 million); Kaemmerlen Electric ($33.43 million); Schneider Electric of St. Louis LLC ($28.33 million); TSI Global Companies ($24.5 million); Pyramid Electrical Contractors, Inc. ($22.2 million); Schaeffer Electric Co., Inc. ($18.3 million); TD4 Electrical and Communications, LLC ($18.13 million); and RJP Electric LLC ($16.11 million).
