Jim Curran of the Electrical Connection Named to the Board of the U.S. Green Building Council — Missouri Chapter


Board of the U.S. Green Building CouncilST. LOUIS — Jim Curran, executive vice president of the Electrical Connection, has been elected to the board of directors of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC)-Missouri Gateway Chapter. The Electrical Connection is a partnership of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local One and the St. Louis Chapter, National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA).

USGBC initiates, develops and accelerates implementation of green building concepts, technologies and principles that promote environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work. More information can be found at http://www.usgbc-mogateway.org.

Curran has served the advisory board of the U.S. Green Building Council, keeping the organization apprised of renewable energy training programs at the IBEW/NECA Electrical Industry Training Center, which for decades has been Missouri’s largest provider of highly skilled electricians.
