The Saint Louis Science Center’s James S. McDonnell Planetarium will be lit red, white and blue beginning July 2 through July 4. The patriotic lighting celebrates both Independence Day and Fair Saint Louis 2015.

On July 2, the Saint Louis Science Center and the James S. McDonnell Planetarium will be open late until 8 p.m. for the enjoyment of visitors.

The James S. McDonnell Planetarium’s new LED system was made possible by the Electrical Connection, a partnership of the St. Louis Chapter, National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local One.
