First Night in St. Louis will kick off at 6 p.m. Dec. 31, 2014 in Grand Center on North Grand Boulevard just north of Saint Louis University. It includes more than 40 performances at 11 venues, an outdoor concert by Pokey LaFarge and two free fantastic fireworks displays, including one that rings in the New Year to close out the event at midnight.

“This year’s sponsorship for the Electrical Connection is particularly meaningful since First Night wraps up a year-long 250thanniversary celebration of St. Louis,” said Jim Curran, executive vice president, Electrical Connection.

First Night’s goal is to broaden and deepen the public’s appreciation of the arts through an innovative, diverse and high quality program which offers the community a shared cultural experience that is accessible and affordable to all. For more information on the event visit www.grandcenter.org.
