Electrical Connection Members Capture Three of Four Top Honors For Specialty Contractors in the St. Louis AGC Keystone Awards


ST. LOUIS — An annual celebration of construction excellence has presented highest honors to Electrical Connection members in three of four specialty contractor categories. The Associated General Contractors (AGC) of St. Louis presented 2012 Keystone Awards to Guarantee Electrical Co. and PayneCrest Electric and Communications. The firms, both members of the Electrical Connection, were honored at a gala event on Nov. 1, 2012 at the Renaissance St. Louis Grand Hotel in Downtown St. Louis.

Guarantee earned awards for its work on Mercy Medical Center Patient Tower B in Creve Coeur, Mo. and Local 36 Sheet Metal Workers’ Training Facility in St. Louis. The firm also earned honors as a finalist for its work on the Ameren LFGTE Plant in Maryland Heights, Mo.

PayneCrest earned a Keystone Award for its work on the ConocoPhillips (now the Wood River Refinery) Coker and Refinery Expansion (CORE) in Wood River, Ill. It also earned honors as a finalist for its work on the St. Louis County Medical Campus in Berkeley, Mo.
