Electrical Connection Co-sponsors Industrial and High Tech Summit Hosted by the Economic Development Center of St. Charles County


ST. LOUIS — More than 100 companies attended the Industrial and High Tech Summit hosted by the Economic Development Center of St. Charles County and co-sponsored by the Electrical Connection. The Feb. 20, 2013 event at the Old Hickory Golf Club in St. Peters, Mo. connected companies with state and local resources to grow manufacturing and high tech business operations in St. Charles County and the surrounding area.

Presentations included the new Ameren energy efficiency rebate program, local and state grants for employee training, tax credits for hiring new workers, sales tax exemptions for manufacturers, export assistance, and advantages of financing fixed assets through the 504 loan program.

The Electrical Connection is a partnership of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local One and the St. Louis Chapter, National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA).
